As they say, Patience is bitter, but its fruits are sweet and if the fruit is Mango, then we don’t mind waiting for a whole year! Isn’t it?

Although my father always said (and I believed..) that a ‘True Mango Lover’ would always eat mangoes by itself, it means, no milk shakes, ice creams, puddings or whatsoever is required at all when you have ‘the king of fruits’ on your table.
But the little one has his own ways of enjoying his favorite fruit;
So, here’s my Recipe for our beloved Mango Ice cream, do try and comment below with your review…
1 cup heavy cream
2/3 cut mangoes (depending upon the size)
1/4th cup sugar
3/4th cup condensed milk
1 drop of vanilla/mango essence (optional)
As easy as it can get, first grind the cut mangoes and sugar together and add a drop of the essence in it. Make a smooth paste and keep aside.
Whip the heavy cream and make it light/fluffy. Mix it with the mango paste.
You can use ready made condensed Milk or simply make it at home by boiling the milk first and letting it reduce till it becomes half the quantity taken originally.
Mix the condensed milk with the mango mixture, pour it in a container and keep t in the deep freexer for 2 to 3 hours.
After 2..3 hours, remove the container, mix the ice cream again.
